This church, the first stone of which was laid in 1962, replaces the too small chapel in the middle of the village.
It was built at the initiative of Father Aubillard helped by his parishioners and under the direction of Pierre Alanic, carpenter of the town.
It comprises a square preceded by nine steps which is overhung by a statue of Saint Pierre with its attributes. Its separate bell tower with four superimposed bells makes it singular.
