    Did you know?
Discovered by Marco Polo in the 14th century, coconuts, the fruit of the Cocos Nucifera palm, are native to Sri Lanka. There are as many uses for coconuts as there are days in a year. The coconut is an incredible fruit whose juice, pulp or fibres are used in cooking, cosmetics and even for housing!

The coconut tree: Its "wood" and palms are used in construction. Its sap can be drunk fresh or fermented. The fibres surrounding the fruit are used to make ropes, mats, brushes or mats and are used as insulation. Coconut has many uses in cooking and cosmetics thanks to its water and pulp.

In the kitchen: In the form of milk, cream or oil, coconut is very easy to incorporate into all dishes, sweet or savoury. Its milk and cream replace animal equivalents. Ideal for vegans and lactose intolerant people.

Coconut oil: Extracted from the pulp, coconut oil, not to be confused with coconut oil, is used in cooking and cosmetics. It is very gentle on the hair and skin without leaving a greasy film on the skin and is very pleasant to use.
