Leave the large kiosk after the large ford and walk on the path to the water treatment plant (1). Walk along the fence to the left of the facility and cross the river. Keep going straight. The path climbs then turns right to descend into a narrow valley at the bottom of which runs a small stream. From there a long ascent begins on the Olivier trail to La Boutaud.

After the climb, a path goes to the right towards village Colson (2). Don't take it, go straight on. The trail starts on a ridge and offers a beautiful panorama over the valley and the bay of Fort de France. At times you can even see the coast and the Atlantic Ocean on the left. Keep going straight on.

A little further on, the trail crosses a slightly wetter area where you can see trees covered with moss and lichen. Further on you will arrive at a glade, then the rest of the walk continues on the ridge.
Throughout this portion, lookouts were set up by hunters. It should be noted that the plots adjacent to the trail are used for grazing, and cattle are sometimes found on the trail. Therefore, be very careful. A little further, the path begins to descend towards the Rabuchon district. Take the track which goes to the left and which plunges into the valley (3). The entrance to this road is located just after a masonry structure designed to channel runoff water. After a little more than half an hour of descent, the trail leaves the undergrowth to cross a meadow.

Another ox park to cross and you arrive on the access road to Coeur Bouliki (4). Turn left and go up towards the fords. At the end of the road, the reception area: this is the end of the loop.
